Tablet /possibly/ dead

:EDIT: Through playing around with the USB jacks on a separate laptop, I managed to get it to turn on! Rejoice!
I'm working on getting it running on my laptop right now!
I'm going to take advantage of it working now. Unfortunately this tablet is old and pulls shit like this fairly often as of late so I wouldn't be surprised if it's nearing the end ;_; I'll try to get some stuff done though!

I'm looking around for more possibilities right now, but I'm just putting this out here since I've been working on this thing for more than 3 days now.
I did the norm, I replaced the driver multiple times with multiple versions. I thought it could be my cord, so I bought a new one and it still isn't working. Restarted my computer a generous amount of times. been messing with different USB ports...

All I know is that the cord is EXTREMELY loose in the tablet... I have no idea why that could be. The new one is like this too, so it must be something with the port, but I have not the slightest clue what could cause that. I tried using tape to help keep the end in place, but to no avail.

I'm gonna keep looking. So far message board and such haven't been giving me much help but I'll keep it up. If it's really dead, I have no idea what to do. It of course does this right after my birthday. I don't have near enough money saved up for a new tablet ;_; I really have no idea what I'm going to do so hopefully it'll start working.
